Shipping
*Free Domestic Shipping Offer
Any order over $200 qualifies for free domestic shipping with code FRESH21. Orders will ship either USPS Media Mail or UPS Ground Shipping depending on weight, location and rate regardless of the shipping option selected during checkout. Priority Mail is not available with the free shipping offer.
We Ship Worldwide
Orders ship out via USPS Media Mail (within United States) or USPS First Class International (outside United States). Some domestic USPS orders may be upgraded to UPS for free based on weight and location.
Priority Mail upgrades are available for domestic and international shipments. USPS Priority Mail delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
We also offer UPS Standard service within the United States/Canada and DHL Express for some international locations. Canadian customers please note UPS customs fees.
Occasionally, items are not in stock and they will either be delayed in fulfillment or refunded and cancelled. If a cancellation is necessary due to lack of availability, you will be notified via email.
Tracking
Once your order ships, an email notification will be sent with available tracking information. Please note that for orders shipped to addresses outside the United States, tracking updates may be limited to activity within the Unites States only. For additional information about your delivery, please visit USPS at www.usps.com or visit the website of the carrier selected at checkout. If you reside outside the United States, contact your local postal service. Draw Down cannot provide any additional information about your order once the item has shipped. Any and all inquires should be addressed to the carrier who has custody of your package (the USPS, UPS, or DHL) or to your local postal service.
Lost, Stolen, Damaged or Returned Mail
Please note that we cannot be responsible for lost, stolen, returned or damaged mail. For customers who upgrade to Priority Mail or UPS there is limited insurance (with some restrictions). In the event of damaged mail sent via USPS Priority Mail or UPS, please be sure to retain all shipping packaging and be prepared to present material to the USPS/UPS.
Attempted Deliveries
Draw Down is not responsible for attempted deliveries that result in your package being returned. Please use the supplied tracking number to stay informed about the delivery of your package. You must contact your local post office as soon as possible to reschedule any missed deliveries, or they will return the package and new shipping charges will be incurred.
International Customs, Fees and Taxes
Any and all custom fees imposed by your local post office or government must be paid by the customer. Draw Down is not responsible for any packages that are returned due to unpaid custom fees or taxes imposed by non-US countries.
Beginning July 1, 2020, customers in the EU will be required to pay a value-added tax on any goods they purchase from Draw Down. If VAT charges are not paid upon delivery, the shipment will be abandoned by the carrier, and Draw Down will not be responsible for issuing a refund. Note that VAT charges may exceed the value of merchandise you have ordered.
Priority Mail and Insurance
USPS includes up to $50 of insurance with most domestic shipments (some restrictions apply). Priority Mail International shipments containing merchandise are insured against loss, damage, or missing contents up to $200 at no additional charge. Priority Mail International shipments containing non-negotiable documents are insured against loss, damage, or missing contents up to $100 for document reconstruction at no additional charge.
Overweight Packages
We try to keep international shipping costs as low as possible. For some international orders (outside the U.S.) that are over 4 lbs. we may contact you if additional postage is required to send your order. This is rare and mainly occurs with exceptionally heavy books.
