Mutzine #2 - Flux
Issue #2 of Mutzine explores ideas of identity, liberty and development against the backdrop of Korea's shifting socio-political landscape, and chronicles the ways that Korea exists in the global consciousness. Features in this issue include the convergence of politics and fashion in South Korea; K-Fashion 2.0; a brief history of Seoul nightlife; and an article on LED Light Beauty. Interviews with IMin Hyun Woo, Sihyunhada, Dawooni Park, Rocket x Lunch, Kimmy J, Munn, graphic and UX/UI designer Shrimp Chung, Closet Yi, and Miso.
A poster wrap enfolds each copy. One side is a typographic and photographic collage of images and text drawn from the issue; the other side is a translation of the magazine text into Korean.
Mutzine is an independent bilingual (Korean and English) Korean fashion and culture magazine created by a network of both Korea-based and transnational collaborators. Much of the content responds to the Korean Wave phenomenon.
