More and more designers are studying type design. There are also more courses to specialize in type design compared to 30 years ago, especially outside Europe. However, the time available during studies is never enough to cover all relevant topics, and we can never all meet, which is why the type designers at Underware wrote a letter to their future colleagues, hoping to have enough interesting conversation material at their next meeting. Or at least to prevent students from wondering why no one ever tells them anything.
