This annual publication showcases the results of the competition “The Most Beautiful Swiss Books,” coordinated by the Swiss Ministry of Culture and aimed at promoting Swiss book design.

The 2009 award-winning books are presented in this catalog, which includes technical facts and figures as well as the jury’s verdict. This volume also serves as a platform for discourse about book design and production and is in itself an example of contemporary graphic design trends.

The Future Issue is the third catalog in the Back To The Future Trilogy, which reflects on the past, present and future of book design.
