SET (Revised edition) / Na Kim
Updated reprint in black of 2015's Set (now out of print, originally produced for a solo exhibition at DOOSAN Gallery New York) features a collection of Na Kim's work from 2006 to 2016. For this book, fragments of her works are set in more or less personal categories, taking on a form reminiscent of a sample book. In contrast with the first edition, published before the show’s opening, this book also contains images of the actual exhibition and a text by Jae Seok Kim.
Na Kim studied product design at KAIST and graphic design at Hong-ik University in Korea before attending Werkplaats Typografie in the Netherlands. Kim, currently based in Seoul and Berlin, is a member of Table Union and is involved in the artist-run space Common Center. Her focus is on the visual language of autonomous works as well as on cultural commissioned projects. Besides many other projects, she was responsible for the concept and design of Korea's GRAPHIC magazine from 2009 through 2011.
