Of
Of, written by architect Tom dePaor and designer Peter Maybury, collects together a series of essays related to Ireland’s exhibition at the 12th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice in 2010, of de Blacam and Meagher.
The exhibition—curated by Tom dePaor, Peter Maybury, Alice Casey and Cian Deegan—took the form of an unbound book, containing volumes of drawings and photographic reproductions from the archives, contemporary photography, and readings of the work with commentary. The commentaries came from a cross-generational collective who share encounters with the architecture of de Blacam and Meagher. These commentaries offered a contemporary and critical view of the firm's practice and its positioning in the wider context of Irish architecture.
