Notes for Rehearsal is an invitation and a tool. It is a book with a map’s sense of anticipation. Maps hold the capacity to transport readers: lines, colors and names morph together in the imagination, into a suggestion of a present, past, or future setting. 

Readers are invited to fold out and navigate a list of 52 steps exploring how rehearsal, a repeated practice in the present, can imagine and stage potential futures.
