A textual and visual companion piece to Marisa Futernick's video installation Black Earth, Green Earth, Gold and Brown, which premiered at the Bolivar Art Gallery, University of Kentucky in 2025.

Written and designed by the artist, this saddle-stitched zine explores the social landscape of the Connecticut shade tobacco industry with a first-person account, parsing complex histories of migration, identity, childhood, and agricultural labor.
