Xavier Dupré - Typographical Itinerary / Itineraire Typographique
Xavier Dupré (born in 1977) is one of the most prolific French type designers, with work published by Emigre, FontFont, Typofonderie and Type Together and in use around the world. His typefaces—both Latin and Khmer— demonstrate a personal quest to excel in type design and a passion for letterforms fueled by calligraphic and humanistic influences, while also underlining a sensitivity to cultural influences and local histories.
Filled mostly with unpublished material, this richly illustrated volume is a thorough introduction to Dupré’s typographic work. Includes an interview with Dupré by Julien Gineste, and an introduction by Rudy Vanderlans.
