In its second edition, Screendump — an ongoing investigation and exploration of photography in the virtual world — takes a close look at the appropriation of photos found online, and focuses on artists who use the everyday snapshots of amateurs.

The issue reflects on how attitudes toward creating, disseminating, and appreciating photos have radically shifted in the digital age, and how the making of a picture is now accepted as a habitual activity for everyone.
