Posterzine™️ is a monthly mini-magazine in poster form

Issue 65 of this monthly publishing project from People of Print features the Godfather of 90s Skate culture, Ed Templeton.

Ed's photography and artwork captures the honesty and aesthetics of every urban environment he encounters. Ed grew up in southern California, became a pro skater before he graduated from high school, and founded the skate brand Toy Machine in 1993. Templeton is also a member of The Beautiful Loser Collective, a DIY street art group that rose to prominence in the early aughts. Known for his interdisciplinary art practice—photography, mainly portraiture, that documents the people and street life of areas he's lived and visited, and paintings that showcase the psychological complexity of American suburbia—Templeton has carved out a singular path.

In this issue of Posterzine® this man of many talents talks about: the links between his various passions, arguing with Brietbart fans, and the poetry of creating photography. An A1 fold-out poster featuring some of Templeton's monster characters and a drawn-over photograph is on the reverse.
