Issue #380 of Japan's IDEA magazine is a deep dive into legendary graphic designer and artist Tadanori Yokoo's recent work. Street art phenom KAWS, Mirko Illic, Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran, and others share thoughts about Yakoo's work and legacy. Includes the following texts: “What do Posters Mean for Tadanori Yokoo”; “●▲■ in Yokoo’s Poster Works”; “The Influence of Tadanori Yokoo in Europe”; “Attitude, Atmosphere and Black Humour: The Currency of Ideas”; “Taiwan and Tadanori Yokoo.” A biography and an interview with Yokoo are also included.

Additional sections spotlight the life of Toshihiro Katayama, a Japanese designer who worked in Switzerland and the USA for many years, and then explore Otl Aicher's work for the German town of Isny im Allgäu. A review of Philippe Apeloig's exhibition includes the record of a conversation between Apeloig and Kaoru Kasai. Other articles include “Swimming in Puddles: Making the Postalco book and Images” (an interview with Mike Abelson and Yuri Abelson) and “Atlases: Visualizing the Ecological Conception of the World” (Alexander von Humboldt’s Tableau physique and the Dawn of Botanical Geography).
