Issue #26 of German design magazine Slanted focuses a spotlight on the art and design scene of that glittering city of superlatives, New York.
Meet the current generation of designers, typographers and artists who witness, shape, and color the Big Apple's visual culture. As part of their investigation of the city's design scene in 2015, Slanted produced a series of comprehensive studio portraits, accompanied by an extensive collection of photos, illustrations and essays.
This 288 page issue contains: studio portraits (consisting of an interview with accompanying photos); a photo essay as well as several long-form essays; an illustration section, Font Names Illustrated; interviews; and an additional type booklet ”Contemporary Typefaces” with fourteen recently published, quality typefaces.
