Remapping Collaborations Working Group

Regular price $20.00

Developed by Nieuwe Instituut's Remapping Collaborations Working Group, Remapping Collaborations investigates how international design exhibitions—from biennales to festivals—might be organized through more equitable, experimental, and collaborative models. Emerging from conversations initiated during the 2023 London Design Biennale, the publication brings together essays, redesigned transcripts, diagrams, and practical tools that examine the often invisible structures shaping cultural exchange.

Rather than proposing a single methodology, the contributors encourage readers to question established institutional frameworks and to embrace uncertainty, difference, and negotiation as productive conditions for collaboration. Throughout, worksheets, visual frameworks, and editorial interventions transform the publication from a conventional reader into a working document for designers, curators, publishers, educators, and cultural organizers.
