International Poster Book 2022
The International Poster Book 2022 is a limited edition 256 page full color, perfect-bound book including all posters selected for the 2022 International Poster Exhibition/Competition (formerly known as the Graphic Design Festival Scotland).
The volume includes 164 posters by 130 designers, 10 interviews, a compilation of comments by jury members, and a discussion: "Poster, Artwork, or both?"
The catalog provides a snapshot of contemporary poster design from around the world. Selected by an international jury from over 9,500 entries from 94 countries, the 164 selections are diverse in concept, style, subject, purpose, motivation, physicality, geography, and means of production, and are presented in a sequence that allows readers to find their own associations and connections between the works.
Features interviews with Osvald Landmark, Frederick Plesner and Frederick Wendt, Neo Neo, Anymade, Fraser Muggeridge and Jeremy Deller, Joseph Melhuish, and Shuaitong Zong as well as discussions with competition winners MENSLIES (Haojun Pan, Yank Wang), Liebermann Kiepe Reddemann, Hammer and Emporium.
