The Guise of Masked Celebrity
The Guise of Masked Celebrity is a collection of paparazzi snapshots of celebrities hiding their identities by wearing disguises in public. The work references “The Subversive Form,” Clarij's exploration of the (Non-)Transformative States of Radical Aesthetics and Ideology, which is informed by Boris Groys's e-flux essay “Self-Design and Aesthetic Responsibility.” Printed on newsprint.
