The Agony and the Ecstasy: Jack Webb by Glen Luchford

“It's a book about love.”

Legendary fashion photographer's assistant (and photographer in his own right) Jack Webb steps fully into the frame. He's been testing lighting since the 1990s for Glen Luchford, the widely admired photographer of 90s Kate Moss and some of Gucci's most iconic fashion campaigns.

For over two decades, Luchford has been stockpiling these process photographs (Jack would strike a pose to test the lighting before a model took his place for the final shot). And this handsome book celebrates Glen and Jack's unique relationship matching 82 sets of photographs—one with a fashion model, and one with Jack.

Also included: the transcript of a three-way Skype conversation between Glen, Jack, and writer Lou Stoppard.
