Cast It #1
This publication from Italy's CAST (Cooperativa Anonima Servizi Tipografici) discusses the history and culture of type together with CAST's own digital fonts. Cast It #1 shows specimens of CAST’s fonts used to set the article ‘type-founder’ in Griselini’s Dizionario delle Arti e de’ Mestieri (1768-78). As printing historian James Clough relates in the foreword, this text is the earliest known description of punch-cutting and type-founding published in Italian.
