2017 - Bráulio Amado
“Bráulio plays every instrument in the orchestra and he plays them like an experimental jazz musician—with skill and creativity.” —Luke Hayman
Portugal-born, NYC-based visual artist Bráulio Amado presents a book of nearly every poster he made in 2017, appropriately titled 2017. The collection features numerous posters from NYC dance events, punk concerts, and various spectacles, as well as documentation of the artist's collaborations with brands and designers, as well as running commentary. A companion to 2017's 2016 (now out of print), this collection of Amado's work captures his extensive output, capturing a busy year of joyful, warm, and energetic graphic explorations.
